The year 2012 presents a crucial year when ITF has started the procedure to become an international organisation and changed the name into - ITF Enhancing Human Security, being forecasted in ITF Strategy 2009-2013 and in line with it, to address a broader range of global post-conflict and disruptive challanges which threaten the security of individuals and communities. Besides the name, ITF revised whole graphic design together with logo that has square shape and contains remained abbrevation ITF together with three dots bellow.

ITF Enhancing Human Security (ITF) would like to inform all companies and organizations which are applying for funds as part of ITF tender procedure, within the US government awards to ITF that they should register and obtain the DUNS number. On 06 December, 2012 ITF has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Palestinian Mine Action Centre (PMAC) which seeks to enhance its promotion and coordination of mine action at the national level and to ensure a capacity to meet the mine action requirements in accordance with international mine action standards and national legislative related to mine action.

On 28 November, 2012 ITF Enhancing Human Security has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Lebanese Mine Action Center. On January 10, 2013 Ambassador of Czech Republic to Slovenia Mr. Petr Voznica visited ITF. At the meeting with ITF director, Dorijan MarЕѕiДј, and Head of ITF office in BiH, Gregor SanДјanin, the Czech funded activities in 2011 and 2012 were discussed, as well as joint plans for 2013.
